If you put 26 handfuls of creativity, a gallon of dedication, a whole lot of heart, and a cup of cold press together you end up with our Marketing Specialist Kayla Piltz. She has been with the Tulip Tree team since October 2021 and has jumped right in with writing blogs to creating unique marketing strategies. Learn more about Kayla below:
What do you like most about your job?
The variety and options we can provide our clients. Somedays I am writing blogs while other days I am advertising on Google.
What motivates you at work?
My clients and belief that marketing is important. I know some people overlook marketing and think that it is not important. If my clients see a difference and hit their goals, I know my job was successful.
What was your first job?
I was the school store manager in high school through my marketing class. I was in charge of staffing, ordering, pricing, and collaborating with a designer for the designs. At this same time, I had my first internship with athletics, I was the athletics office intern. In this role, I was in charge of coordinating bussing, creating marketing materials, and coordinating the athletic banquet.
What is your favorite pastime outside of work?
In the summer and spring time, my favorite pastime is walking on the nature trails or attending/playing baseball. In the winter I love curling up with a good book and hitting up craft breweries.
What is the one food you cannot resist?
POPCORN!! Movie theater popcorn or stovetop is preferred. I am not a huge fan of microwave.
Who would you want to play you in a movie about the Life of Kayla?
Anna Kendrick, her type of humor is the same as my humor, dry and sarcastic.
Do you have any pets?
Three! Two free roam rabbits, Dunder and Ringo. One Sheepadoodle puppy who is new to the family, Dutton.
Are you an introvert or an extrovert?
I am definitely an extrovert. You can find me at any networking event or hanging out with friends when I’m not taking care of the pup. I love people and meeting new people.
What’s your go-to coffee order and where is it from?
An iced crafted press from Caribou with a shot of caramel. The local favorite of mine is an iced caramel cold brew from Due North.
