Refining the colors used in the publication, we incorporated new hues and softer tints for a fresher, more contemporary look. This updated color palette brought a sense of warmth and calmness, while maintaining the co-op’s established brand identity.

Updated Page Layout

Introducing a more fluid layout to the newsletter’s internal pages, we utilized a variety of design elements to help make this unavoidably text-heavy publication easier to digest. Adding background graphics and cleaner sectioning, we helped make content more appealing and skimmable at a glance.

Fresh Cover Design

Approaching the front cover with a magazine-style design, we used larger imagery and bolder typography to make the cover a focal point and build intrigue. The more simplified yet polished look aims to create excitement and entice readers to dive into the content inside.

The Results

This newsletter redesign transformed the energy co-op’s publication into a more digestible and engaging piece of communication. Its updated design improved the overall flow of information, making it easier for members to navigate.
